3-Day Otavalo and Andes Highlights

Explore the North Andes Highlands of Ecuador visiting the main attractions of the area, like Ponchos Market, Cochasquí pyramids, a pre-inca building from 900 A.C. Also visit the different ecosystems of the Ecuadorian Highlands.

Day 1: Dry Forest I Cochasqui Piramyds

In the morning we will visit the “Bosque Jerusalem”; this place is the biggest Andean Dry Forest of Ecuador where we can learn about this ecosystem. In the afternoon visit an archaeological research of Cochasquí where we can find pyramids of the culture Quitu Cara. Dinner and overnight at Otavalo Town.

Day 2: Work Shop I Peguche Waterfall (B)

In the morning after breakfast, we will visit Ponchos Work shop, and Mercado de los Ponchos. Lunch at Otavalo. In the afternoon we will visit Peguche waterfall.

Dinner and overnight at Otavalo Town.

Day 3: Parque Condor I Flowers Greenhouse (B)

In the morning after breakfast we will visit “Parque Condor” where we can learn about one of the most important birds of Ecuador “El Condor”. Later we will visit a flowers in greenhouse where we will learn about the process of roses, one of the principal products that Ecuador export to the all the world.

Lunch at Tabacundo. Return to Quito City.

Overnight and dinner at Quito city.
