Itinerary

Day 1: Santa Cruz Island/ Transfer in + El Chato + Twin Craters

Stop At: Reserva El Chato, Isla Santa Cruz, Puerto Ayora 200350 Ecuador
If you came to the Galápagos to stand face-to-face with a giant tortoise, then you can't pass up a trip to El Chato Tortoise Reserve. But tortoises aren't the only animals to look out for here: As you get acquainted with these immense, dome-shaped creatures, you may even hear the chirp of a Darwin finch or the hoot of a short-ear owl overhead.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Los Gemelos, Ecuador
These impressive holes were formed by magma (lava) domes which hardened on the outside but continued to flow on the inside, leaving huge but empty chambers that collapsed with the passing of time, creating this breathtaking scenery that resembles two pit crates.

Day 2: Uninhabited Island

Stop At: North Seymour Island, Ecuador
This small island is one of the most important fishing sites for Marine Birds. This place is the reason for many travelers and ornithologists to observe the spectacular and diverse amount of birds of the Galapagos.

Day 3: Santa Cruz Island / Tortuga Bay (snorkeling)+ Charles Darwin  Research Station

Stop At: Galapagos Beach at Tortuga Bay, South-West of the town of Puerto Ayora, 200350 Ecuador
Santa Cruz Island is home to Tortuga Bay, one of the top attractions in the Galapagos Islands. It’s the perfect spot for swimming, snorkeling, and seeing some amazing Galapagos wildlife.

Stop At: Charles Darwin Research Station, Ave Charles Darwin, Puerto Ayora 200350 Ecuador
The mission of the Charles Darwin Foundation for the Galapagos Islands and its Research Station is to provide knowledge and assistance through scientific research and complementary actions to ensure the conservation of the environment and biodiversity in the Galapagos Archipelago.

Day 4: Santa Cruz Island / Transfer to the airport ( Baltra)

Stop At: Santa Cruz Island, Ecuador
Home to the largest town in the Galapagos, Puerto Ayora, the Island has a large variety of vegetation. Pit craters, Scalesia Forest, cacti and ferns are found in its vegetation zones. The island is comprised of a younger part formed by volcanic cones and lava and an older narrow strip of land formed by uplifted lava flows and tuffs.
