Nos encontraremos en la catedral de Riobamba, o en el hotel que los turistas prefieran, para iniciar el viaje al punto de partida de la caminata.

El lugar de la caminata inicia en la Finca Castillo De Altura, ubicada en la parroquia de san juan, a 20 min de la ciudad de Riobamba, en la vía al Chimborazo.
