This short tour to Cotopaxi and Quilotoa makes for a great 2-day escape from Quito. The first day you will travel to the Cotopaxi Volcano is one of the highest active volcanoes in the world and a truly majestic sight. This tour will give you the chance to explore the incredible Cotopaxi National Park. The second day, you will travel a couple more hours to visit the Quilotoa Lagoon, an unbelievable turquoise-colored lake located in the caldera of an active volcano.

Visit the glacial lagoon Limpiopungo.

Stop At: Cotopaxi Province, Cotopaxi Province
Arrive in Cotopaxi, spend the night.

Stop At: Laguna Quilotoa, Laguna de Quilotoa, 070701 Ecuador
Walk to Quilotoa Shalala view point. Hike down to the water edge Quilotoa Lagoon. Explore Quilotoa village.
Duration: 5 hours

Stop At: Quito, Quito, Pichincha Province
Return to Quito with hotel/hostel drop off.
