Ecuador is a country straddling the equator on South America’s west coast. Its diverse landscape encompassing Amazon jungle, Andean highlands and the wildlife-rich Galápagos Islands result in one of the highest bird counts in the world namely 169.

Offering species with 33 endemics. Its varied habitats and tropical gardens and jungles
allows the visitor to experience firsthand the beauty of this South American paradise and
all its creatures providing many opportunities to capture pictures of a lifetime.

Settle in and do a recce of the area

Day 2: Northern Andes

Stop At: Bellavista, Guayaquil, Ecuador
Travel to Bellavista Cloud lodge in the Northern Andes International bird and Biodiversity area(IBA)
Use this as a base to visit parks and gardens of the region such as the Angel Paz reserve

Move down into the true jungle areas and onto Sani lodge which will be the base for the next few days of jungle exploration either by foot or boat depending on the weather conditions.
