Ecuador Community Service 18 Days

18 Day Ecuador & Galapagos Community Service where you will have more time to see more of Ecuador and the islands while helping orphans, school children and nature.

The ideal age for this trip is from 13 to 17. This a group tour, our travel director with chaperons will meet participants at major hub airports in the United States to begin the journey, be with them 24/7 and return the same way. Our programs are safe, educational and fun!

Day 1

Quito

Fly to Quito

Overnight in Quito

Day 2

Full day Quito City tour including Panecillo view point and Mitad del Mundo. Intinan Museum, and Pululahua crater.

Day 3

Depart for the Orphanage center to begin your Community Service work.

Day 4

Orphanage full day Community Service.

Day 5

Otavalo Indigenous experience.

Travel to Otavalo Poncho Plaza market, the most colorful indigenous market for shopping followed by a visit to the family for food, music, dance and music.

Day 6

Last day of community service in the orphanage.

After lunch, depart to the Teleferiqo with the children and care takers for an overview of the city.

Day 7

Travel to the Andes region, home to the Cotopaxi volcano, the highest active volcano in the world.

​

Continue south and get to the Quilotoa lake, a picturesque old extinct volcano, hike for 3 hours.

Day 8

Community Service at a local school

Return to the hotel for a bonfire in the evening.

Continue with your service at the school. We will prepare soccer/other matches for you to play with the children.

Scenic drive to Baños, a city for adventure and fun.

Baños, rafting and hiking.

Travel back to Quito.

Bowling in the evening followed by dinner.

Fly to Galapagos

Upon arrival, you will be driven to the Charles Darwin Center.

Begin your Reforestation project

Finish your reforestation project and in the afternoon hike to Tortuga Bay
