12 Nights Cairo - Luxor - Nile Dahabeya boat - Abo simbel

The latest recreation of the Egyptians to make the Nile Cruise journeys even more enjoyable is the reuse of the Dahabeya style ships. The Dahabeya was an elegant style of boats that the royal family of Egypt and the Egyptian aristocrats used during the beginning of the 20th century, the 1920s till the 1940s, to cruise the Nile.

Imagine these wonderful wooden crafted elegant boats sailing smoothly in the Nile moving from one historical site to the other while the tourists relax and enjoy the Breeze of the Nile and watching the Egyptian peasants in their daily life activities.

These Dahabeya boats are quite magnificent and they have a magic of their own making the tourists feel as if they belonged to the royal family of Egypt in the last century.
