Cairo through The Ages Tour

To understand the history of Cairo, one has to live through Egypt’s history and see why and how this historic region of Middle Egypt gave rise to one of the world’s most important cities. This tour will take you back in time to ancient Egypt and show you how the country developed, first, under the rule of its indigenous leaders, and then under a series of Arab, Turkish, and Circassian rulers. You will witness the remarkable diversity of the city not only in its exceptional architecture but in the chaotic streets, densely populated districts, traditional cafes on every corner, local food carts, and nearly every alley you walk by.
