Spend the day away from your ship on a desert safari. First drive from PortSaid Port to Cairo, where you will be taken the Giza Pyramids. Then you will travel south to Sakkara to view the Step Pyramid from camel back and enjoy lunch in the desert before returning to PortSaid Port

Pass By: Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu), Giza Egypt

Your Amwag Tours guide and manager will be waiting inside the PortSaid Port for you. They will be holding a sign showing your name. You do not need to look for them – they will be waiting for you and will find you.

From the moment your tour starts, your guides will give you full attention. Once in the car, your guide will talk to you about all the things on the way as well as other aspects of your tour that will interest you.

You will start the tour visiting the pyramids. You will get to visit Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. Then proceed to visit the Great Sphinx, the head of a pharaoh with a lion’s body. You will also visit the Valley Temple, which belongs to the Pyramids of Chephren.

Proceed to Sakkara. There, you will be transferred by jeep 4×4 jeep inside the desert for about 30 minutes.

After that you will stop to enjoy the panoramic view of the Step Pyramid in Sakkarra.

Then you will be transferred to Camel Caravan in the Desert where you will start Camel ride for about 30 minutes till you reach Sakkarra Country club. Enjoy Lunch at Sakkarra Country Club

End the day with an optional visit to traditional bazaars then drive back to your cruise ship 2 hours before your departure time. If time permits, we can make some photo stops in Alexandria.
