Hurghada Grand Aquarium is the city's first marine theme park and a premiere educational facility. An integrated urban with marine life and zoo attractions. The aquarium is geared towards an all-year, all-weather destination for locals and tourists. Open everyday from 9:00 am until 6:00 pm and an ultimate place for all ages. It houses more than 100 animals, representing 1,200 species, all of which reside in 1 million US gallons (3,500 m3) of marine and fresh water, and one of the largest aquariums when it opened earlier in 2015. The Aquarium's notable specimens include: nurse shark, stingrays, green sea turtle, shovel nose guitar shark, eagle rays and more... At the heart of a 24-meter journey inside the curved walkway tunnel with a spectacular underwater view of amazing sea creatures swimming overhead. The water source for the tunnel is filtered water, a special process is done to ensure that the seawater is suitable. If you're looking for something different, then look no further.
