Private half day tour to Giza Pyramids and Sphinx

Visit Giza Pyramids, the Sphinx and workers' tombs. Walk around the nine pyramids of kings and queens, then visit the Valley Temple of King Chephren to learn about mummification. There is also enough time to go inside one of the Pyramids if you wish ( extra ticket ).

At 9am your qualified Egyptologist guide will pick you up from the hotel and start your journey to the Giza Pyramids. On the way he will talk about the most important sights of Cairo (buildings, the Nile, hotels, museums, historical sites, etc.) and answer any questions you might have.

Upon arrival at the pyramids, your guide will start by giving you brief information about Egyptian history (from 12000BC to 1848AD), then will talk about how ancient Egyptians built the pyramids in a time they didn't even have the pulley wheel, and will guide you around them. Afterwards, you will go to visit the tombs of the workers to see the beautiful high reliefs on the walls and to know how they lived during the construction of the Pyramids.

Last, see the valley temple of King Chephren (mummification temple) and the great Sphinx to know how old is the Sphinx originally?!!

Your guide will take you back to your hotel by 1pm. You have enough time to explore the pyramids and ride a camel.
