This is a private tour that combines a visit to Alexandria with its Greek and Roman monuments with an unforgettable show at the Giza pyramids

Alexandros is one of the biggest cities in the ancient world along with Athens and Rome. It was founded by Alexander the Great in the 4th century B.C. which is much newer than the pyramids of Giza and their Great Sphinx that were constructed between 2500-2400 B.C.

You will start your full day tour at 7am when you meet your private professional licensed tour guide in the lobby of your hotel and set off for Alexandria (about 3 hours' drive) where you will wonder at the following sites: Catacombs of Kom el Shoqaffa. Great Pompey's pillar, ruins of the temple of Serapis, fort of Qaitbay.

Lunch is included at a good quality seafood restaurant.

After returning to Cairo you will proceed to the site of the sound and light show

At the end of the tour you will be transferred back to your hotel.
