The city of Suchitoto is located in the picturesque department of Cuscatlán, just north-east of San Salvador, just 47 kilometers away.

Characterized for being a warm town, this rural corner is considered a national historical jewel because of the richness of its tourist attractions of its central town and the emblematic lake of Suchitlán that adorns its beautiful panoramic views.

Its Nahuatl toponymy means "Place of the flower bird." Its streets are characterized by being cobbled and their colonial-looking houses with beautiful balconies transport all tourists visiting this unique site to the past.
