Duration:Hlane Royal National Park, home to the largest herds of game in the Kingdom, encompasses 22,000 hectares of Swazi bushveld dominated by ancient hardwood vegetation. Home to Lion, Elephant, White Rhino, Giraffe and a whole host of other species

Get picked up from your place of stay in and around Manzini and Mbabane but further places a pick up fee may apply. Drive to Manzini where we will make our first stop at the Manzini market where you can make some small shopping for gifts. We will have here a one hour stop and there after we heading down directly to Hlane National Park towards the east and have a safari drive. After this drive we will come back to our Lunch which is a BBQ (beef and sausages) and some salads. Vegetarian meals are available on request in advance.

The Rhino Drive at Hlane has been developed with the sole intention of seeing as many White Rhino as possible – now traversing the big game area of Hlane. The bonus of this activity is of focusing on the Rhinos and safety permitting, Hlane’s expert guides will allow visitors to disembark from the vehicle and quietly walk up to the Rhinos while remaining in the vicinity of the vehicle. Offering excellent value, this unique, intimate encounter provides valuable insights into Rhino behaviour while also ensuring their continued safety in a protected environment. Spend time observing these gentle and endangered giants in their natural habitat on a two and a half hour Land Rover drive through Hlane’s lowveld wilderness. Local Swazi guides will share their wealth of bush and rhino knowledge with you including the identification in English and Swati of animals, trees, medicinal plants, grasses, insects and birds in addition to basic tracking skills.
