You will be picked up right next to your ship at the port, and from there, you can just look out the window, while the local tourguide happily tells you all the history of the beautiful surroundings you see trough your window.

Between every village is a photostop or two, and there you can walk around by your own or accompanied by your tourguide.  After the tour, you will be dropped of right by the ship, in good time before the ship leaves the harbour.
