The eSled – electric snowmobile is an innovative new way to experience the Arctic splendor without disturbing the silent peace of wintry nature. We are the first and only company in the world offering electric snowmobile safaris, a sustainable way of experiencing and exploring the purity and silence of the Lappish nature. The electric motor of the eSled is silent.

Exclusive environment

Our private and easy-to-access trails are well-maintained ensuring you a pleasant and safe safari ride. The beautiful landscape along trails includes versatile nature: lake scenery, rugged hillsides, old pine forests, and marshlands. During the breaks, there’s also a chance to take pictures of these scenic views and share them with your friends. To make your experience even more exclusive, our safari comprises of small group of one guide and 8 eSleds. Children aged 4-14 can enjoy the ride in a sleigh towed by the safari guide’s eSled.

Itinerary

Are you ready for an adventure by our unique silent and emission-free electric snowmobiles? For those wishing become to part of the nature, and not just drive through it, our Silent safaris are the perfect solution. eSleds upset neither the animals nor the nature's delicate balance. Our safaris are designed for small groups, for the benefit of the environment as well as participants. We also operate on exclusive private routes, taking our guests through the scenic wilderness of Rovaniemi to experience the wonders of the Arctic. Driving in the snowy and silent forest is an exciting experience. Our safaris starts from Arctic SnowHotel & Glass Igloos in the village of Sinettä, approx. a 25 min drive from the city centre of Rovaniemi.

On our 3-hour Northern Lights Safari we ride our eSleds to the top of a hill, far from the city lights – an ideal place for watching the Northern Lights. We stop to observe and admire the night sky and stars, and, if we are lucky, see the Northern Lights as well. The guide is happy to help the guests with camera settings, if they wish to take pictures. During the stop we warm ourselves by the fire in a private hunting cabin and enjoy a Finnish supper.
