DAY 3.    MEET THE HUSKIES Duration 4 hrs OR MEET THE REINDEER

Enjoy a complimentary hotel pickup and transfer from your centrally located accommodations at Ruka. Before adventure, take part in a short safety briefing. Then, you’ll be ready for your adventure.

Departing from Kuusamo Airport, you see snow all around the nature. You'll first go to our hotel in central Ruka. Ruka is an international tourist center. Ruka has also world cup competitions in skiing and on trail running in nature and in mountain in Lapland.

With a guaranteed adventure, you can be and relax as you enjoy the incredible views. Your professional guide will provide expert commentary along the way. After the completion of your daily adventure, enjoy the worry-free transfer in a courtesy bus back to your hotel in central Ruka.

FLOATING IN THE RAPIDS

At the arctic river the group gets to experience unique and relaxing moments in the gentle river floating down the stream. After floating delicious snack is enjoyed by open fire; sausages, local bread and freshly brewed coffee/tea. Duration: 2,5 hrs

SNOWMOBILE SAFARI TO WILDERNESS RESTAURANT KAMMI

Drive a snowmobile through the glistening snow to Kammi. Everything is here and now. After an one hour snowmobile safari, it’s time for a smoke sauna and a winter swim – in a hole made in the ice! Then its time to relax and enjoy a sumptuous dinner under the open fire. Duration: 5-6hrs

MEET THE HUSKIES

Husky safari is an unforgettable experience that you will fondly remember for years to come. On a dog sled ride you get to marvel at the gorgeous natural scenery and white snow of Kuusamo and follow the eagerly running huskies. A hot drink (coffee or tea), a juice, a bun and a sausage are enjoyed after the ride. Duration 4 hrs

MEET THE REINDEER

Meet hundreds of reindeer and take a ride in a sleigh pulled by reindeer and enjoy the fresh breath of air underneath warm reindeer hides in a magnificent scenery. After the ride a sweet bun and and hot drinks are enjoyed.
