Wonderful opportunity to learn more about the traditions of reindeer herding in Lapland. This activity will grant you the chance to become a reindeer herder yourself, even just for a few hours! Take photos with the animals and experience a sledge ride!

Itinerary

After pickup you will be driven to a familiar traditional Reindeer farm in Lapland! You will help the reindeer to prepare for the Lappish winter, by feeding them delicious and nutritious food. The reindeer are happy to act as models, too – take as many photos with the animals as you´d like! Local reindeer herders and farmers will be there to explain the traditions of reindeer herding lifestyle and answer all the questions you might have about the local life here, on the Arctic Circle. Learn, also, about how the herders know which reindeer belong to them and how the families work together as in the old times. You will have the chance to experience a short reindeer ride self-drive! Biscuits and warm tea will be served, and you still will receive a Reindeer Driver`s Licence!!
