Traveling in the snowmobile, you can also admire the stars in the sky at the same time. For taking good photos in darkness, tripod is also available on request.

Itinerary

Snowmobile into the heart of a frozen Lake Vikajärvi as a perfect spot to stargaze and search for Ms. Aurora Borealis. After important safety instructions by your guide, the snowmobile will begin from the forest into the heart of the lake. Experience the vast openness and space of the frozen lake as an awesome spot to gaze towards the night sky. See all the sparkling stars and expect gasps of delight if Ms. Aurora Borealis decides to pay you a lucky visit. Tripods for great picture taking in the dark are also available upon request. Keep in mind the Northern Lights is an unpredictable natural phenomenon in which nobody can 100% guarantee. However, our professional experiences and forecasting allow the chances for sightings to be higher.
Note: Driving license is required. Children under 140cm are travelling in the sledge pulled by the guide’s snowmobile.
