An Instagrammer's Guide to Carcassonne

Instagrammers - we're going to explore the Ville Basse area of Carcassonne, through your camera or smartphone! We'll kick things off by talking about the principles of great photography, but without any of the unnecessary jargon that comes with it, and look at what we think makes a perfect photo for Instagram.

We'll start at the Train Station, and through to the Port of Carcassonne, along to the Pont Marengo, pausing at various points to reflect on aspect of photography for Instagram, then jump behind the lens to try them out. We'll walk along cobbled lanes of the new town, finding spots to learn about b&w, landscape, portrait and action shots.

Over 2-hours we'll move to the more popular areas around Place Carnot, before turning to the famous Pont Vieux for a final summary.

Our online community is accessible to all those taking part, and details of this will be offered to participants, at the end. We're good for beginners, for those with a real passion for taking snaps. All welcome!
