Cycle/walk & sail in the Bordeaux wine area; Spend 8days, 7nights and 6 tours along rivers Garonne, Dordogne and Gironde. Uncover the most prestigious and famous wine region in the world: Bordeaux !  Experience an authentic adventure that will take you to the heart of the 6 Bordeaux Wine Routes (Bordeaux-Cité du vin, Medoc, UNESCO-listed Saint-Emilion-Pomerol–Fronsac, Entre-deux-Mers, Graves-Sauternes and Blaye-Bourg). A great mix of activities, culture and authenticity as you cycle/walk through the land of vineyards, charming French villages and visit your favorite châteaux to sample their finest products. End each journey savouring wine and enjoying the sailing aboard your floating hotel where you don't have to worry about packing/unpacking at every destination. You will live a real immersion in the local French community with unique discoveries and warm memories to treasure !

In the morning you will enjoy a hearty and nutritious breakfast with a gourmet buffet onboard and take your lunch with you to start your adventure biking/walking/ or taking our mini-bus with a group of 8 persons accompanied by one of our local guides to discover the land of vineyards. Enjoy vineyard tours, wine tasting and French tables in every journey. Discover the 6 Bordeaux Wine Routes every day with a different destination !

Guests can rent a road bike or an E-bike and are provided with quality maps and a roadbook, can get a GPS with the recorded tracks and every evening there is a briefing with video presentation and a slideshow. Guided option is available and recommended; the guests ride as a group led by the tour guide with a sweep to ensure everyone else arrives at the destination safely. At night you'll enjoy chef prepared regional specialties with fresh ingredients, whilst the bar offers a wide variety of excellent local wines to enjoy during dinner, or simply to savour it with a sunbath on the deck and let your cares float away !

All this in one convenient package for you that you can also personalize it according to your preferences and needs, with your own Bike or E-bike/bus/guide if you want.

The Itinerary is one week from Libourne to Castets and the next week from Castets to Libourne :

Day 1 (Saturday): Arrival Day - Bus transfer @ 2pm from Gare St Jean Train Station in Bordeaux to barge docking location in Libourne. Boarding at 3pm. Optional bike ride around Libourne, 7-10 mi. (10-15 km)

Day 2 (Sunday): Libourne - Saint Émilion & Pomerol round-trip by bike, 16 - 28 mi. (25 - 45 km) | Libourne to Bourg, by boat

Day 3 (Monday): Bourg -  Blaye and Fortress round-trip by bike, 23 mi. (37 km)

Day 4 (Tuesday): Bourg to Lamarque by boat | Lamarque - Margaux (Médoc) round-trip by bike,  28 mi (45 km) | Lamarque to Bordeaux by boat

Day 5 (Wednesday): Heart of Bordeaux, 10 mi. (15 km) | Bordeaux- Cadillac by boat 

Day 6 (Thursday): Loupiac - Entre-Deux-Mers/Graves - Sauternes - Cadillac round-trip by bike, 32 mi. (50 km) | Cadillac to Castets-en-Dorthe by boat

Day 8 (Saturday): Disembarkation in Castets and transfer back to Bordeaux.
