Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Pleumeur Bodou, Pleumeur Bodou, Cotes-d'Armor, Brittany

Pleumeur-Bodou is a village of Côtes-d'Armor in Brittany presenting among the most beautiful landscapes of the Côte de Granit Rose.

The important megalithic heritage (covered alleys, menhirs, etc.) wrapped in paganism, meeting a strong Christian rivalry, will delight lovers of history and archeology.

Pleumeur-Bodou offers prodigious maritime landscapes, as in Landrellec (or Lanrellec), and presents the largest expanse of white, gray and pink granites. The landscape bocage (territory of Saint-Samson and its superb chapel) and the wood of Lann ar Waremm, make this commune the privileged place of the hike.

The Ile-Grande is somewhat different from its common home: although it can be accessed by a small stone bridge braving the foreshore, the island is distinguished by an original personality that was not lacking in to pay tribute to some of the prestigious guests she welcomed, Charles Le Goffic or Joseph Conrad.

With its neighboring islets (Canton islands, Aval, etc.), it is also remarkable for its coastal landscapes with intense colors. The sea, which here more than elsewhere withdraws further, gives high tide a prestigious, almost dreamlike, white sand beaches.

Stop At: Tregastel, Tregastel, Cotes-d'Armor, Brittany

"Sapphire and coral, blue sea, pink rocks, it's Tregastel on the beautiful summer days" - writer Charles Le Goffic.

This small, unspoilt coastal town has always attracted renowned writers and painters.

The architectural and historical heritage of the town is exceptionally rich, thanks to the presence of megalithic monuments (covered walkways, menhirs, Gallic stele) and religious buildings (chapels, churches and ossuary built between the 12th and 17th centuries) without forgetting tide mills, calvaries and other fountains and washhouses.

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Perros-Guirec, Perros-Guirec, Cotes-d'Armor, Brittany

Perros-Guirec is one of the most famous seaside resorts of Brittany, rightly: between its marina, its two superb beaches (Trestrignel and Trestraou) overhung with the prestigious houses of the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century , and the many leisure activities it offers, Perros-Guirec stands out as one of the best tourist destinations in France. But it is especially at the Grand Site of Ploumanach and its gigantic granite clusters in the pinkish tint, almost glowing that it comes to forge its reputation.

Miracle of nature, Ploumanac'h has the power to fascinate the most knowledgeable amateurs of dreamlike landscapes by the opera of colors that deliver the elements in the fairy scenery that extends from Tourony to the site of Men Ruz , literally the Red Stone. The lighthouse stands in this setting, signaling to the sailors who would have forgotten that here beauty rhymes with dangerousness, the difficulty of this narrow pass traversed by violent currents.

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Lannion, Lannion, Cotes-d'Armor, Brittany

Capital of Trégor, Lannion is the second city of Côtes-d'Armor. Built on a hillside, on the banks of the river Léguer, it consists of a low part and a high part with undeniable charm, old houses with half-timbered or slate. The oldest, of the sixteenth century, are located rue des Chapeliers. Place du Marhallac'h, you can admire two houses with turrets.

For a breathtaking view of the city, towards the stairs of Brélévenez: 140 steps lined with small houses, for an exceptional panorama on arrival. The district of Brélévenez seems to have frozen in time, with its Templar church and its typical houses.

Do not miss the 16th century church of Saint-Jean-du-Baly, enlarged in the 17th century: its square tower once had an arrow, demolished in 1760. See also: the old Sainte-Anne convent converted into a space sociocultural.

Very nice walks on wooded trails await you along the Leguer: it is the domain of fountains and secret chapels, small sheltered ports, to the beaches of Beg Léguer.

On Thursday, the city comes alive with its famous big market.
