Full-day Private Ephrussi and Kerylos Villas Nice and Eze tour from Monaco

In this tour you will visit two very beautiful Villas and the surrounding area. Luxury and flair are mixed with a beautiful environment and nature. You can choose to stroll in the beautiful gardens to admire the many different formations and architecture as well as carefully chosen flowers. Inside the houses there is the possibility of a guided tour with headsets. The tour finishes with a visit to Nice and the pretty village of Eze

The day tour begins with a pick up at your arrival port, hotel or other location as agreed. You will pass along the pleasant sea road to St Jean Cap Ferrat. It is a stunningly beautiful peninsula. It is no wonder that in 1800 and 1900 centuries aristocrats and other famous people came here. It has lovely beaches, cliffs, beautiful nature and stunning views on all sides and edges.

 

You will visit a renowned villa, named after the family Ephrussi de Rothschild and the greek villa Kerylos. The Rothschild villa is very interesting and special. You can stroll around in all rooms and enjoy a guided visit with a headset. Each room has its own charm and style. There is also the opportunity to walk in some very nice gardens. The proprietress was very fond of flowers and arranged various types of plantations in different gardens. When you have completed this pleasant tour of the house and the gardens, there is a small café where you can settle in for a moment of refreshment.

Then move on to another beautiful villa: Villa Kerylos. Here you will face a completely different type of architecture, style and taste. Simpler and lighter, but a lot of beautiful tiles and mosaics. Wonderful views and gardens. There is a room where both adult and young can try to paint if desired.

You will then continue to Nice, a beautiful city along the Mediterranean.  Nice has a beautiful well known promenade: the Promenade des Anglais. There will be a visit to the old town with a lovely flower and seafood market. Stroll around the narrow shopping streets and stop for a coffee in the sunshine if you desire (own expense). Nice is full of beautiful old buildings such as the Opera and the Palais de Justice.

Your excursion continues along the coastal road to Eze. A medieval village, this time high up on a hill. There are small winding streets without cars but many cozy cafés, restaurants and boutiques. If you make the effort to walk up to the top, you will find the remains of the castle that once stood there - and today it is a fabulous exotic garden. On the way down admire the art workshops and if you you can even visit a beautiful little church.

Next, your guide will take you for a guided visit at the famous perfume factory Fragonard. Here you can take part of its long history of how to produce the good scents.
