Via Nissa's visit to Grasse is designed for those with some knowledge of the perfume industry and perfume raw materials. The masterclass and visit are private and are limited to four persons maximum. Often this program is provided only for one person. You cannot become a perfumer and create your own perfume after a two hour program. Our visit is not designed for professionals in the industry, but those who seek an exceptional, memorable and educational experience. You will learn a great deal about perfume and the inner workings or the industry. Individual interests, details and concerns can be discussed and customized if there are specific requests.

Itinerary

Full day excursion to Grasse begins with a two hour Perfume Masterclass with an actual nez and professional perfumer with a theme on flowers and hesperide notes such as bergamot and raw materials from Grasse and the Mediterranean region. The masterclass is followed by a one hours introduction of examination of the "State of the Industry" - past, present, future - with a professional artisan perfumer who will also introduce you to some of the unusual and rare materials and oils being worked with today. Lunch in Grasse will be with a PhD historian of Grasse perfume. After lunch you will visit the International Museum of Perfume, followed by an excursion to a generational raw material producer of tuberose and jasmine as well as distiller. This rare visit is designed for those seeking an exceptional experience with working professionals.
