Historic Normandy and D-Day Landing Beaches and Mont St Michel 3 Days

A 3-days tour that will allow you to explore the Normandy region in dept. You will get to explore French Gothic architecture from up-close. Three amazing days learning about French history and admiring beautiful landmarks, streets, cathedrals.

Day 1

The tour will start with a visit of Rouen which is the capital of Normandy. You will take a walk through the old part of the town and take a look at Exchequer house, the 15 C Archbishop Palace, Grosse Horloge. Our next stop will be the Place du Vieux Marche that hides many historical secrets that you will learn from your guide. Then we will visit the best example of French Gothic architecture - cathedral Notre Dame de Rouen.

We will continue the journey with a visit to Honfleur that was an inspiration to many famous writers, artists many years ago.

You will love the streets, the unique houses and the smell of fish that comes from the restaurants. Here, we will stop for a lunch break and continue to Bayeux which is a city that suffered a lot during the WW2. You will see cathedrals, restored houses including the Tapestry of Bayeux where you can see details about people's lifestyle during that period of time.

After a short break, your licensed guide will take you back to your hotel in Bayeux.

Day 2

The second day will continue with a visit of the Pegasus Bridge which has rich history dating from the WW2. We will drive to Arromaches and explore the place.

A lunch break at a traditional restaurant is a must (according to your choice).

After lunch we will continue to the American cemetery and a visit of the Omaha beach and Pointe du Hoc.

Then, your guide will take you back to your hotel at night.

Day 3

We will spend the last day of this tour visiting Mont St. Michel which features an Abbey created in the 8th Century and is an amazing historical place. The next stop is the Romanesque Church, the chapels and take a lunch break. After lunch we will explore the streets and the buildings.

Once we are done, the guide will take you back to Paris.
