On this tour we give you the option of visiting a part of the inside of the French Basque Country especially St Jean Pied de Port, St Etienne de Baigorry and its beautiful surroundings.

We start with a drive from your hotel to Itxassou, our first stop. There we’ll take you on a nice walk along the Nive river surrounded by beautiful nature.

After this stop, we’ll continue to Saint Jean Pied de Port. This place is know worldwide as the starting point of the Saint James Way. There you’ll visit the old walled town, walk over the bridge from the Middle Ages and take a walk through the narrow, colourful and charming streets.

In St Etienne de Baigorry we‘ll go to a cheesefarm where you can taste the Ardi Gasna, the local cheese. We‘ll also make a stop at the beautiful Chocolaterie Laia.

Finally we‘ll cross the border to Navarre (Spain) to discover and enjoy the pitoresque landscapes of the Pyrenees region. We continue our trip driving through the beautiful Baztan valley towards “home”.
