Nature escape in Petite Camargue
To explore the Petite Camargue quietly, follow Isabelle in an authentic region where birds of ponds, bulls and horses live together peacefully. Come and discover the traditions of Camargue, listen to its History as well as the stories of its producers.
9 AM: Departure to Saint-Gilles, 50 km from Montpellier, in the heart of the Petite Camargue and of its marshes. Meet with bull breeders, visit their farm and taste its products. OR cruise on the canals to admire fauna and flora (from April to September).
12:30 AM: Lunch extra charge (restaurant or picnic).
2 PM: Walk in the medieval city of Aigues-Mortes founded by Louis IX in the 13th century. Stroll in the middle of the ponds to an old watchtower OR discovery of rice fields of Camargue with a rice grower, depending on the season.
6 PM: Return to the meeting point.
