Les Invalides, the Military Museum and Tomb of Napoleon. The Hôtel des Invalides was commissioned in 1670 by Louis XIV in order to provide accommodation and hospital care for wounded soldiers. Stop here for some pictures and history behind it!

Place de la Concorde is located between the Champs Elysées and the Tuileries Gardens, and because of its elaborate history, it is one of Paris’ most evocative public spaces.
