The Cavale makes its cinema

Discovery of La Cavale, an exceptional wine estate, both for its location in the heart of the Luberon Natural Park, and its extraordinary architecture: a building of more than 65 meters long, built in a very contemporary style.

A 500 square meter shop, a real concept store; cultural and atypical, it is above all an oenotouristic area apart where visitors live fun and educational experiences, around wine.

Itinerary

We will accompany you on two of our parcels, "Guarrigue" and "Soulière" where you will learn everything about our terroir: Which grape varieties are allowed? What are they like? How do the climate, the soil and of course the "dough" of the winemaker influence the taste and identity of the wines? How are Luberon wines becoming more and more popular and renowned?

In a second time, we will go to Vaugines, a small picturesque village, made famous by Claude Berri's film "Manon des Sources" (1986). Be among the lucky ones to enter St. Bartholomew's Church. Romanesque, the construction of it dates back to the eleventh century; it was classified a historical monument in 2000. You will then go to Cucuron and discover its hidden treasures, such as the pond and the remarkable plane trees centenarians. The reservoir provided water to the flour mills for centuries before being transformed into a beautiful decorative pond. This village was chosen to host many film shoots, such as Ridley Scott's "A Happy New Year" (2006) or Jean-Paul Rappeneau's "Le Hussard sur le Toit" (1994).
