The Potager des Princes is above all a place for families, and it was unimaginable that there is not a large place reserved for animals, for the happiness of young and old. Many varieties of rabbits live in a pretty village specially designed for them, goats, sheep, pheasants, turkeys and dwarf chickens. But also a pony, a donkey and a horse dwarfs and geese and peacocks in freedom in the park.

Welcome to the Potager des Princes!

In 2002, Yves and Annabel Bienaimé, after huge restoration works, opened the Parc de la Faisanderie, a 3-hectare estate located in the heart of Chantilly, under the name of "Potager des Princes". This historic site draws its wealth and its elegance in a harmonious mixture between the vegetable, the animal and the mineral.

The garden :

The gentle valleys and gentle slopes offer a perspective on the different styles of gardens that make up the park: Japanese garden, Garden of Eden (with beautiful paintings), Kitch garden (kingdom of the dwarves in pottery), Garden of Topiars in the form of chess game ... But also an exotic garden, a romantic garden, a labyrinth of bamboo, orchards, etc ... All complemented by magnificent trees with various species.

The vegetable garden:

In the spirit of the gardeners of Louis XIV, the Bienaimé create a kitchen garden made up of squares lined with rows of cobblestones and corded apple trees, a stone orchard and a pip orchard. These squares welcome throughout the seasons, aromatic plants, medicinal plants, old vegetables ... and many flowers. The whole is punctuated with explanatory and educational panels.
