Picking up at Arras railway station or your hotel, this tour is ideal for British, Canadian and Australians alike. Covering the main battles of Arras in 1917, you will see the incredible preserved battlefield and trenches of Vimy, the stunning Canadian Memorial at Vimy, go underground and learn about the tunnellers, see the largest WW1 German cemetery in France, spend time in some of the finest Medieval squares in France, go into the underground quarries where the New Zealand tunnellers dug 20kms of tunnels to join a series of quarries around Arras. In the afternoon you will visit the battlefields of Bullecourt where the British and Australian troops attcked in April and May, visiting the Bullecourt Museum and Digger Memorial. This tour is available as a half day Vimy tour or full day tour.

0900hrs pick up at Arras

Vimy Ridge and the preserved Battlefield- the landscape bears witness to the ferocity of WW1. Tour the trenches and underground tunnels and see the stunning Canadian Memorial to the Missing.

St Vaast German Cemetery- the largest WW1 German cemetery outside Germany with over 44,000 burials.

1230hrs we break for lunch and a chance to explore the Medieval squares in Arras.

At 1345hrs we visit the Carriere Wellington underground quarries and the 1917 attack on the Hindenburg line we follow the Hindenburg line to Bullecourt, the furthest end, here we will see the Battlefield and ‘Outpost Villages’ , the ‘Australian Digger’ and Bullecourt Memorial to the Missing and the Bullecourt Museum-the village Mayors private collection.
