Itinerary

Day 1: Kutaisi, Monasteries, Wine & Dine

Stop At: Kutaisi, Kutaisi, Imereti Region
The first stop is the first gymnasium of Kutaisi. Here guide tells about history of Georgia and Kutaisi. After taking pictures group continue to white bridge, then go through park of love and visit Golden marquee palace. Then we go to central grocery Bazar. After short shopping we walk to central square of Kutaisi. The next stop is central park, statue of Sisters Ishkhnelebi and memorial of "9 April". Then we pass by opera house and Mon Plaisir arch. Then we move to Kutaisi state history museum.

Stop At: Bagrati Cathedral, Bagrati Street, Kutaisi 4600 Georgia
Bagrati cathedral overlooks the city. It was built in 11th century as a symbol of united Georgia

Stop At: Road to Gelati Monastery, Kutaisi 4600 Georgia
Built in 12th century, there are 3 big churches, an academy, grave of David the builder, bell tower and houses of monks in the complex. It was built by the greatest Georgian King David The Builder.
Duration: 55 minutes

Stop At: Motsameta Monastery, Tbilisi, Kutaisi 0172 Georgia
Motsameta monastery is related to story of tortured brother lords David and Constantine Mkheidze. It’s built on the cliff and is surrounded by the river from 3 sides. The nature and colors around monastery are amazing.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Baia's Wine, baia Abuladze Wine Cellar, Meore Obcha 1000 Georgia
For lunch we visit family winery “Baia’s wine” located in Bagdati municipality, village Obcha. Firstly Baia and Gvantsa (Baia’s sister) show us vineyard that is just behind their house. Then we move to wine cellar to test several types of wines they have. They produce “Tsolikouri”, “Krakhuna”, “Aladasturi”, “Ojaleshi”, “Otskhanuri Sapere” and of course “Chacha”. Afterwards we sit around big table full of Georgian food. Their mom makes the most delicious Imereian food you’ll ever try.

Day 2: Kutaisi-Mestia

Stop At: River Enguri, Zugdidi Georgia
The first stop Enguri water dam. Currently it is the world's second highest concrete arch dam with a height of 271.5 meters.
Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Hatsvali Ski resort, Georgia
After lunch break we visit Hatsvali ski resort. Cable way goes from 1500 to 2300 m altitude. From the top there is amazing view on Ushba (4700-4710m) and Tetnuldi (4850m).
Duration: 1 hour 15 minutes

Stop At: Margiani's House Museum, Lanchvali Street, Mestia 3200 Georgia
Margiani family fighting tower and house-museum was built in 14th century.

Day 3: Ushguli-Mestia-Kutaisi

Stop At: Ushguli, Ushguli, Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Region
On this day we have off-road tour to Ushguli – the highest settlement in Europe.

Day 4: Canyons & Cave

Stop At: Prometheus Cave, Kumistavi Georgia
The first stop is Prometheus cave that is 1,8 km long and is located 40 meters below sea level. In the cave there is a hall of love where people even get married. Here you can enjoy with underground boating. It’s cool, isn’t? :)

Stop At: Martvili Canyon, Martivili Georgia
Here we take a boat tour through the canyon and explore depth of it along waterfalls.
Duration: 50 minutes

Stop At: Okatse Canyon, Village Gordi of Khoni Municipality Gordi, Khoni, Georgia, Kutaisi 5900 Georgia
This is the deepest canyon in Georgia with hanged bridges and sky walks. There are 2 ways to achieve bridge: trekking on 3 km route and taking off-roading taxi. Off-roading is pretty impressive experience.
