Stop At: Jinvali Water Reservoir, 40 km to the North from Tbilisi, Tbilisi Georgia

Jhinvali water reservoir, also known as a lake is located on the Georgian Military Highway. Soviets constructed the dam in the 1980s. As Tbilisi was growing rapidly, there was a need of a new water supply. Government decided that the Aragvi Gorge rich with glacier water was the perfect spot.

Stop At: Ananuri Fortified Castle Ensemble, Georgian Military Highway, Ananuri Georgia

The Ananuri fortress complex is located on the shores of the Zhinvali Reservoir

Stop At: Gudauri View Point, Georgia

Gudauri – young and rapid developing winter sports resort located at Kazbegi region of Georgia, 120 km from Tbilisi, at the height of 2,196m

The Gergeti Trinity Church was built in the 14th century, and is the only cross-cupola church in Khevi province
