Martvili, Okatse and Kinchkha canyons - one of the green, adventurous and breathtaking destinations of Country.

This two-day is tailored for those who are interested not only on history and the archeology, also this tour make speachless nature and adventures lovers.

Itinerary

Day 1: tbilisi - kutaisi

Stop At: Bagrati Cathedral, Bagrati Street, Kutaisi 4600 Georgia
Our tour goes toward the former capital of Georgia - KUTAISI. after 3,5 hours drive (with short stops) we will arrive in the city and visit BAGRATI CATHEDRAL. the cathedral overlooks the whole town and its hostoric quarter, which was the residential area of ancient kings

Also, from the place where the Cathedral is located, you’ll get incredible panorama of Kutaisi, we will spend on this landmark 1,5 hours.

Stop At: Kutaisi Market, Phallashvili Street, Kutaisi 4600 Georgia
There are places where you can get the real vibe of the city. On the bazaar in the city centre you can find fresh fruit, vegetables and meat as well as regional delicacies like: local cheese, traditional Gerogian sweets called “churchkhela” and homemade wine. While strolling between the stalls you have a chance to taste delicious food offered by welcoming and chatty vendors

Stop At: Colchis Fountain, Kutaisi, Georgia
During the past decade old town was renovated which brought a new life to Kutaisi. It’ll take not more than 30 minutes to walk through historic sites. we will visit Opera Theater with its outstanding statues on top of the roof; Lado Meskhishvili State Drama Theater – maybe the most beautiful architectural creation in the region;

If you get tired of wandering around, then nice little shopping malls, bars, beer pubs and restaurants are right place for you sit back and enjoy.

Day 2: canyons - tbilisi

Stop At: Martvili Canyon, Martivili Georgia
By contrast, Martvilli Canyon is a cool oasis of slender, mossy trees that hug the low slung walls of the canyon. Funnelled through the rippled cliffs are the deep teal waters that have made this place the tourist attraction it is today.

A short paved path leads you through the area with a series of small, arched bridges that crisscross the river and lead to viewing areas for the cascades. An optional 10-minute boat trip will take you a short way further up the river to another waterfall.

The walking track is about 500m and can be completed in under 30 minutes. The rock platform around the boat departure point has quite lovely views but, annoyingly, this is out of bounds in order to make the boat trip a little more enticing.

Stop At: Okatse Canyon, Village Gordi of Khoni Municipality Gordi, Khoni, Georgia, Kutaisi 5900 Georgia
Okatse Canyon is a deep forested rift carved by the aqua waters of the Okatse River where fragments of rocky escarpment peeking through the dense forest.

The newly built skywalk is the main attraction here and runs between the trees along the edge of the canyon culminating in a free hanging platform that juts out over the abyss. Definitely not something for those that are terrified of heights!

From the car park, it’s a 2.5km or 40-minute mostly downhill walk to reach the canyon. The skywalk itself is 1km and takes around 20 to 30 minutes to see at a slow pace, stopping to take pictures and look out over the canyon along the way.

Stop At: Kinchkha Waterfall, Kinchkha-Kinchkhaferdi road, Kinchkhaperdi 5910 Georgia
Kinchkha waterfall is almost 70 meters high and while it flows down it makes little oases in the river valley.

it will be our last destination. the roud back to tbilisi will take almost 4 hours.
