Stop At: Okatse Canyon, Matkhoji-Khidi-Gordi-Kinchkha, Zeda Gordi, Georgia

Okatse Canyon, which is a million years old, is one of the main attractions of the Imereti region, is located in the Khoni municipality, in the vicinity of the village of Gordi, at 520 m above sea level. Attractiveness of the Canyon greatly increases because of its forest park, hanging trail on its rocks and natural waterfalls in surroundings.

Stop At: Monastery Martvili, Martivili Georgia

Martvili Monastery - Orthodox church and monastery, which was built in the 7th century on the site of the Chkondidi pagan religious center. The monastery is located on the top of the mountain, and from there a wonderful view opens not only on Samegrelo, but also on Imereti.

Stop At: Martvili Canyon, Martivili Georgia

It is rocky wetland in which the Abasha river has formed a magnificent gorge over time, with canyons, caves and waterfalls. This gorge is usually referred to as the Martvili canyons, named after the nearby town of Martvili.

The Martvili canyons feature beautiful green and blue colors. It is a protected area. There are stretches of quiet water for peddling and swimming, but also steep rocks to climb, spectacular waterfalls to enjoy and caves to explore. If you prefer to keep dry, you can follow one of the hiking trails along and near the Abasha gorge. This will allow you to enjoy the warm climate and spectacular views.
