Marvels of Mtatsminda and Sololaki with a Local
During the 19th-20th century, Tbilisi started to expand beyond its city walls. At this time, Georgia was part of the Russian Empire, which brought many cultural advancements to the town. Sololaki and Mtatsminda neighborhoods are one of the best examples of that time Tbilisi. Art Nouveau style architecture dominates these parts of the city. While some of them are well-preserved, some require urgent renovation.
