On the way, we will stop at a small & charming Ubisa monastery, in Surami, we will taste the delicious local specialty, "Nazuki" sweet bread. We will continue to visit the cradle of Christianity in Georgia - Mtskheta and Jvari church with spectacular views to a confluence of two rivers. In Tbilisi, we will wander through the streets of Old Tbilisi, take a cable car to Narikala fortress, see the modern architecture bridge of Peace, and pass by the famous Abanotubani sulfur bath district, where we will learn a legend of "Tbilisi" name. In the evening we will return to Kutaisi.

Stop At: Ubisa Monastery, Ubisa Georgia

Our first stop will be the Ubisa monastery. You will relax in a peaceful environment of this small but important monastic complex from the 9th century. If we are lucky, we can purchase the sweetest honey from the monks!

Stop At: Surami, Surami, Shida Kartli Region

"Nazuki" sweet bread is sold in Surami only & it is a must-try in Georgia!

We will visit historical capital of the Georgian Kingdom of Iberia during the 3rd century BC – 5th century AD. Svetitskhoveli Cathedral is one of the most important religious monuments in Georgia.

Stop At: Jvari Church, Mtskheta Georgia

The masterpiece of Early Christian Orthodox architecture Jvari Monastery is dated 585-604 cc AD. Enjoy spectacular views!

Let's have a walk in old Tbilisi! We will visit Metekhi church, Europe square, Bridge of Peace, take a cable car to Narikala fortress, visit Abanotubani Sulphur baths district.
