Our tour to three destinations of Vardzia, Rabati and Borjomi offers you a unique opportunity to visit contrasting sites of several historical eras within just a day!
As mostly tourists do not have time, we made it possible to visit these sights in one day!
You have an opportunity to visit:
Vardzia is the legendary cave town of Queen Tamar, which will not leave you indifferent and will surprise you with its scale.
Rabati is the largest fortress with towers, museums, a mosque, a church, etc.
Borjomi, where you can stroll through the park and drink healing water directly from the source.
Please notice that this option offers the driver with basic English without a guide. But it is possible to take guide on the spot in Vardzia and Rabati. All together for 30 euros for all group. If you need guide, we kindly ask you to let us know. Lunch can be organized in the local restaurants.

Stop At: Vardzia, Erusheti Mountain, Aspindza 383770 Georgia

Vardzia is a cave site dating back to 12th century. Excavations have shown that the area of Vardzia was inhabited even earlier during the Bronze Age. There you can find bell tower, main church, cave dwellings, rooms, chapels, pharmacy and wine cellars. Beyond the bell tower the complex rises to nineteen tiers, with steps leading to a cemetery. Infrastructure includes access tunnels, water facilities, and provision for defense.

Stop At: Rabati Castle, Akhaltsikhe Georgia

Rabati Castle is a medieval castle complex of Asian style in Akhaltsikhe. Built in the 13th century, Rabati castle developed under the influence of different cultures over subsequent centuries and this is reflected in its architecture. Within the 7 hectares castle complex there is a Church, a Mosque, a Minaret and a Synagogue.

Stop At: Borjomi, Borjomi, Samtskhe-Javakheti Region

Borjomi is the picturesque resort town which is famous for its mineral water, which is the number one export of Georgia; the Romanov summer palace and the World Wide Fund for nature-site Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park. Borjomi is also home to the most extensive ecologically themed amusement park in the Caucasus.

Pass By: Khertvisi Fortress, Vil. Khertvisi, Aspindza 0500 Georgia

Khertvisi Fortress. Its strategic location guards the road connecting the towns of Akhalkalaki and Akhaltsikhe. A fortification was first built on the site in the 2nd century BC but was reputedly destroyed by Alexander the Great. The present fortress dates from the fourteenth century.
