You will meet your private driver and guide and begin a two-hour journey to Borjomi.

Borjomi is a town situated in the Borjomi Gorge in the South-East of Georgia. The district has excellent natural conditions, fresh mountain air and moderate comfortable temperature at any period of a year. This beautiful spa town is one of the most popular resorts, famous for its mineral waters of volcanic origin, unique nature and abundance of historical monuments.

You can take a nice walk to a beautiful Borjomi park and sample the “Borjomi mineral water” from the spring.

Stop At: Rabati Castle, Akhaltsikhe Georgia

You will continue your trip by Visiting Rabati castle, the medieval fortress complex, located on the riverbank, in the town of Akhaltsikhe. Originally the fortress was established in the 9th century and had been destroyed several times by Turko-Mongol invasions. The fortress and its adjacent buildings were extensively rebuilt and renovated.

You will take a lunch-break (locally payable) in one of the best local restaurants to taste the delicious Georgian dishes.

Georgia is home to one of the most visually impressive and culturally rich destinations in Europe – the labyrinthine Vardzia Cave Monastery. This underground monastery was built to avoid the Mongol onslaught, in the 12th century in the reign of Queen Tamar. The fortress had 13 levels of constructed natural caves and contained over 6000 rooms, including a throne room, meeting room, bakery, forge, chapels and a huge church.
