Georgia is one of the oldest countries of the world, with unique culture. One of the main attribute of this culture is wine. In our country is found the oldest wine clay aged from 8000 – 1000 years old. Country has 600 sorts of wild grapes and more than 1200 sorts of different wine. Country’s most famous region which wine is known and are popular all over the world is called Kakheti.

Itinerary

First destination will be Tsinandali where the residence of Prince Chavchavadze, father-in-law of Russian writer Alexander Griboyedov is located. The estate have luxurious English Park and collections of the oldest wines of Georgia: in the cellars of Tsinandali wines stored 40’s of the 19th century. Here you have a great opportunity to try different kind of wine like : Tsinandali,Rkatsiteli, Saperavi (Dry and Semi-sweet) and real Geogian – Chacha.
After Tsinandali residence our next location will be Winery Khareba. There are a lot of wineries, but we want to concentrate your attention on this one particular winery. It is unique old building in a traditional Georgian style with mixing modern European style, with famous so called “wine tunnels” which keep special temperature needed for wine, degustation halls, own wine production. We also give you chance to not only degust wine, but take participation in a Georgian Traditional dishes making, in a Georgian wine and Vodka making, and most important Rtveli (the process of picking grapes and making wine) .
