During the Munich city tour we will learn about the origins of the old city in the middle ages, the monarchy, legends and fables, Bavarian culture, local cuisine and beer (of course) amongst many other things. Using photos we will show you how Munich has changed and grown over the centuries.

Munich has many nicknames; “The Largest Village in Germany”, “The Beer Capital of the World”, “Athens on the Isar River”, “The Northern most Village in Italy” and “The City of Festivals”. All of these names are well deserved and the reason why on average 70 million people visit the capital of Bavaria each year!

Munich is a small, old city with an incredibly rich history and culture spanning the last 860 years. Only 1.5 million people reside here but most spend their time in the bustling city centre with it’s many beautiful buildings, monuments, museums, parks and beer gardens.
