Revolution fall of the Berlin Wall reunification
Even in retrospect, the events of 1989 and 1990 take everyone's breath away. In 1989, the citizens' protests in the GDR became louder and louder, and the wave of emigration to the west grew ever more violent until the Berlin Wall fell and the GDR regime imploded. In 1990, the first free elections equaled a reunification vote that was won against major international opposition in difficult negotiations with the victorious powers of the Second World War. The tour takes you to important places of the revolution, the fall of the Berlin Wall and reunification and explains both the prehistory and the historical events of 1989 and 1990 up to the dramatic hourly clock of 9 November 1989.
