Day trip from Frankfurt through the Spessart to Würzburg. The town is surrounded by vineyards and situated at the river Main. The most famous sights: Marienberg Fortress, Residenz (prince bishops´ palace), St. Kilian`s Cathedral, Juliusspital (Hospital - endowed in 1576) and the Käppele (Chapel of Grace 1553).
