The food tastings on this tour are authentic Bavarian dishes processed from high quality products. After pick up at the meeting point this tour is going directly to the rural area of Munich. learn how cheese is made at the first stop and taste the delicious cheese at the dairy restaurant. A remote mountain hut is the 2nd stop, tasting a Bavarian meat specialties (Veg. option possible) A sweet ending with a beer flavor is the "grand final" on this tour! Besides talking about the culinary side of  Bavaria, the guide and driver is happy to provide you with all sorts of background information on Bavarian customs and traditions as the tour goes along. Taste some of Bavaria's finest!

Starting from the meeting point by minivan with group of max. 8 people we will drive directly into the  alpine foothills close to Munich city. Explore the rural area of Munich as you are driving thru the countryside and little villages. During the drive your guide and driver will tell you about Bavarian customs and traditions. After 1 hour drive from Munich the first stop is a renowned cheese dairy for high quality cheese products. Learn all about how cheese is made and what it takes to get special tastes into cheese. After you have been shown around the dairy there will be a cheese tasting at the restaurant connected to the dairy. Beside the facts and figures on cheese processing your guide is always happy answer questions or translate a chat with the locals into English.

Driving over to the next stop nearby you will visit a traditional Bavarian restaurant in a beautiful setting, where they serve unique and high quality meat dishes with only the finest meat from the local butcher. Enjoy the laid back Bavarian lifestyle while tasting a Bavarian meat variation in a traditional atmosphere. Vegetarians will be just as satisfied with the Bavarian vegetarian alternative. Find out about food processing in former times and the simple but genuine dishes that developed in the Alpine countryside.

In Bavaria beer is concerned as one of the basic foods in every day nutrition. The various breweries in the Bavaria create great beers but there is one small traditional brewery that you should not miss out on a journey through the Alpine foothills. A very nice drive will take  you to a historical village that played a major role in Munich´s beer history. At the brewery you will have the choice between a special sweet dish or a beer tasting. The beer tasting will be three different beers, each one unique and very tasty. For  those who prefer a sweet dish in the afternoon - you will taste a dessert dish that can only be found at this venue. It is called "Bieramisu" which is an  Bavarian style creation of the Italian "Tiramisu".
