It is romantically perched above the Reinhardswald - and is truly a Middle Ages to touch! You marvel at the ancient, thick walls from the 11th century. From up here you have a fantastic view down to Diemeltal. The sleeperoo stands directly opposite the former church, which belongs to the castle. Unbelievable, how quiet it is here, when in the early evening the last visitors left the beautiful area. With a glass of wine in her hand you are still sitting in the grass on the wall. She is still warm from the sun. There is nothing to hear except birdsong and slowly the sun goes down.
