Itinerary

Day 1: AIRPORT PICK & ORIENTATION

Stop At: Kotoka International Airport, Airport Rd, Accra, Ghana
You will be met and transferred to your hotel for Orientation.
Duration: 1 hour

Day 2: GREATER ACCRA REGION TOUR 1

Stop At: Black Star Gate, Independence Square, Accra Ghana
You will start your tour with a visit to the Black Star Square, An enormous public square and parade ground built to celebrate Ghana's independence.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, High St., Accra Ghana
You will also visit the memorial site of Ghana’s first president and the African of the 20th century, Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah,
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Jamestown Lighthouse, 600 Bruce Rd, Accra, Ghana
You will continue your tour by visiting the famous Jamestown lighthouse fishing Village.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Shai Hills Resource Reserve, Akosombo-Tema Rd Ghana
You will end your tour for the day with a trip to Shai Hills Game reserve. It is one of the easiest and most accessible wildlife viewing options in Ghana. Several hills inside the reserve offer some incredible views over the plains of the park.

Day 3: CENTRAL REGION TOUR

Stop At: Elmina Castle, Elmina, Ghana
You will depart for historic Central Region and tour Elmina Castle and township.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Cape Coast Castle, Cape Coast Ghana
You will continue your visit to Cape Coast Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage site built by the British.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Kakum National Park, Cape Coast Ghana
You will also visit the Kakum National Park spanning 357km2. It boasts of the only Canopy Walkway in Africa, which offers an excellent walking tour through the forest to see much of Ghana’s indigenous plant life.

Day 4: WESTERN REGION TOUR

Stop At: Nzulezo - The Village on Stilts, 1 Beyin Road, Beyin Ghana
You will depart Cape Coast for Nzulenzu ‘ The Village on stilt’. Nzulenzu is one of the Amasuri Wetland, a Ramsar site and the largest inland swamp forest in Ghana.
Duration: 3 hours

Stop At: Busua Beach Resort, Ghana
You will make your way to Busua beach for relaxation and swimming. Busua’s long sandy beach is clean and safe for swimming and water sports

Day 5: ASHANTI REGION TOUR 1

Stop At: Manhyia Palace Museum, Ahanti New Town Road off Antoa Road, Kumasi Ghana
You will depart to Kumasi, the heart of Ghanaian culture and history, visiting places such as the Manhyia Palace which has served as the seat of the Ashanti monarchy since 1924, and the Military Museum.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Kejetia Market, Kumasi Ghana
You will proceed to the centre for national culture and take a thrilling walk through the Kejetia market known as the largest open market in West Africa.
Duration: 4 hours

Day 6: NORTHERN REGION TOUR

Stop At: Larabanga Mosque, Larabanga Ghana
You will depart for Mole National Park about 446kms North of Kumasi via Larabanga Mosque. Built primarily from packed earth, Larabanga is Ghana’s oldest mosque, and one of the country’s most revered religious sites.

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Mole National Park, Larabanga Ghana
You will continue your trip to Mole National Park, Ghana's largest wildlife refuge. You will take the evening safari walk of the park to discover its diverse animals' species. Some of the primates to see includes elephants, warthogs, antelopes, baboons etc.
Duration: 4 hours

Day 7: ASHANTI REGION TOUR 2

Stop At: Ahwiaa Nnuam (Wood Village), Pankrono, Kumasi, Ghana
You will depart Mole in the morning and embark on a visit of the craft villages of Ashanti to Ahwiaa for woodcarving.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Ntonso Adinkra Craftsmen, Ntonso Road Ntonso, Kumasi Ghana
You will continue by visiting Ntonso for Adinkra textile and Bonwire for kente. The Akan people have a richly diverse culture that translates into pictorial symbolism, similar to that of Egyptian Hieroglyphics. Adinkra is an important part of the Ashanti culture, an ethnic subgroup of the Akan people.

Day 8: VOLTA REGION TOUR 1

Stop At: Volta Hotels Akosombo, Asuogyaman, Akosombo, Ghana
You will also visit Lake Volta, the largest man-made lake in the world by surface area and the 4th largest in terms of volume for a boat ride and relaxation.
Duration: 3 hours

Day 9: VOLTA REGION TOUR 2

Stop At: Afadjato Gbledi, Hohoe, Ghana
You will visit Mountain Afadjato, which is the highest mountain in Ghana for a hike.

Duration: 4 hours

Stop At: Wli Waterfalls, Hohoe Ghana
You will then make your way to the Wli waterfall which is the highest in West Africa for some more hiking and swimming.
Duration: 3 hours

Day 10: GREATER ACCRA REGION 2

Stop At: Makola Market, Kojo Thompson Rd, Accra Ghana
You will use this day for last minute shopping experience before your departure flight tomorrow. You will visit The Makola market, Ghana's second largest open market.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Centre for National Culture, Accra, 28th February Road, High Street, Accra Ghana
You will continue your shopping by visiting the National Art and Craft Centre, where you can shop for Souvenirs for yourself and love ones back home.
Duration: 4 hours

Day 11: RELAXATION AND AIRPORT DROP OFF

Stop At: Labadi Pleasure Beach, Accra Ghana
Today will be a relaxation day. You will take a trip to one of the famous beaches in Ghana, Labadi beach. Officially known as the La Pleasure Beach, is a scenic stretch of sand situated in Labadi, a suburb of Accra. There are dozens of bars and restaurants littered across the place, where you can enjoy cool beers and local food like charcoal-grilled tilapia, spicy kebabs and jollof rice. There are also stalls where you can buy continental dishes like french fries, burgers and salads.

Duration: 4 hours

Stop At: Kotoka International Airport, Airport Rd, Accra, Ghana
You will depart the hotel to the airport ontime for your flight.
