Around the Acropolis

Three-hour private photo walk! Get photography hints & help with your camera while we visit major sights around the Acropolis! The acitivity can be customised whether you want landscape photos or portrait photos of your group. Places that we will visit include: Greek Parliament, Syntagma square, National Garden, Hadrian's arc, Plaka (Lysicrates's square & Anafiotika), Herodeion theatre and some of the historical hills around Acropolis. We will walk in the center of Athens, we will feed the birds at Syntagma square, we will pet the cats in Plaka, we will talk about history, mythology, the sights and recommendations that you might want about your trip. And of course we will take a lot of photos! :)

I can bring props and a tripod to help you with your photos. I can also take photos of you with your camera. (I also offer photo shoots via TripAdvisor, photos with my camera and editing.)

Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Hellenic Parliament, Parliament Mansion, Athens GR-10021 Greece

We will meet in front of the Parliament, where the guards are. We will feed the pigeons that stay there and get our first photos there. Depending on the starting time we may be able to see the change of guards.

Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: Plateia Syntagmatos, Leoforos Vassilissis Amalias, Athens 105 63 Greece

We will then move to Syntagma square to get some photos with the fountains in the background.

Duration: 5 minutes

Stop At: National Garden, Leoforos Amalias 1, Athens 10557 Greece

Our next stop will be the National garden, the former royal garden. We will visit a few major spots there and then we will head towards Plaka, the old neighborhood of Athens.

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Zappeion, Zappeion, Athens, Attica

This is a neoclassical building next to the National Garden. We can take some great photos between its columns and with its gardens and fountains in the background.

Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: Hadrian's Arch, Leoforos Vasilisis Amalias 50, Athina 105 58, Greece

On the way to Plaka we will visit Hadrian’s arch, a roman building.

Duration: 5 minutes

Stop At: Choragic Monument of Lysicrates, Epimenidou 3, Athina 105 58, Greece

Our first stop in Plaka, we will have some photos at the park at Lycicrates's square. We will play with the cats that hang around and have some photos with the monument in the background.

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Anafiotika, Athens 105 58 Greece

The main attraction of the experience, Anafiotika, looks like a neighborhood of the Cycladic islands. That particular place was built by settlers from the Aegean island of Anafi. We will have a small break at the top of Anafiotika, to enjoy the view of the city and Lycabettus hill.

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Herod Atticus Odeon, Dionissiou Areopagitou, Athens Greece

The next stop will be at the South side of Acropolis, the roman theatre Herodeion.

Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: Areopagus, Acropolis, Athens 105 58 Greece

We will finish at Areios Pagos hill, to see the sunset, enjoy the view and get our last photos there. Depending on our pace & your interests we can explore more of the hills around Acropolis.

Duration: 30 minutes
