This tour combines taste with knowledge. On this four hour tour, you will learn exciting information about beekeeping and visit a modern beekeeping facility. Continuing on the tour we will visit a famous winery in the Nemea region, learning all about the stages of making wine. You will also get to sample quality honey and wines on this tour.

Itinerary

Stop 1 : Beekeeping facility, Argos, Peloponnese

Our tour starts with a hotel pick up. Our first stop is a modern beekeeping facility where we learn about honey production in an interactive way, wearing the special uniforms. We admire the exemplary structure of the bee society, how they work and how they feed. We will learn the history of beekeeping since ancient years and we will try various varieties of honey. The cosmetics and packaging area will show us how honey can be used in different ways.

Stop 2 : Winery, Argos, Peloponnese

Our second stop is an award winning winery, one of the most famous of Greece. There we will learn about the uniqueness of Greek varieties and about the winemaking procedure. The history of wine since ancient times and the culture throughout the years. After our tour around the winery we will have the opportunity to learn how to drink wine using our senses and try some of the highest quality wines of Peloponnese.
