Enjoy a day of yachting, swimming and sightseeing aboard the exclusive classic yacht Thelginos. Cruise from Athens to the island of Aegina and visit its seaside town and the Ancient Temple of Aphaia. Anchor off the coast and visit remote little islands and beaches only accessed by boat. Our schedule and destinations can be tailored to your needs as the boat will be chartered for your exclusive use.

The yacht “Thelginos” was built in 1926 by James A. Silver Ltd in Scotland for Mr Walter Bergius, the designer of Kelvin engines. The Thelginos, originally named “Vailima II”, was designed by Mr Bergius as a replacement for his previous yacht, “Vailima”, which was used in the evacuation of the British Expeditionary Force (BEF) and other Allied troops from Dunkirk in 1940.

This historic marvel has been owned by a prominent Greek family for three generations and offers a truly unique and exclusive sailing experience in Saronic Gulf.

10.00 Arrive at Aegina island

          Stroll the seaside town of Aegina and visit the Ancient temple of Aphaia (one of the most significant temples of Antiquity)

13.00 Sail to a nearby island for swimming and snorkelling. We will supply snorkelling gear and a small tender boat for getting around.

          Enjoy and authentic lunch onboard. We use only the best locally sourced ingredients and tailor to all special dietary requirements.

17.00 Afternoon tea/coffee onboard

          Sail back towards Athens

20.00 Arrival at Marina Zeas
