Jeep Safari to Lassithi Plateau of Crete

You are the whole day, with your Eye Travel guide, inside the countryside of Crete. We will see many small villages, a lot of nature and of course the Lassithi Plateau.
On our way to the Lassithi Plateau we stop at a very authentic mountain village for a coffee. Who isn't interested in the main production of Crete? Olive oil! So we visit an olive oil factory.
Off road we make our climb to the Lassithi plateau with breathtaking, picturesque view to a 900m level.
On Lassithi we visit a monastery with several beautiful Greek Orthodox churches, each with its own story. We can watch how an artist is painting and restoring frescoes and icons. In a traditional family taverna with a typical windmill, we will enjoy a Cretan lunch from the oven. Our lunch includes many local products that come from the village itself. After lunch we drive through the beautiful landscape of Lassithi.
We end this interesting day with a swim in the refreshing sea. More we can not tell you, just do it.
